Each player rolls their own concealed dice (typically 5). Players make escalating bids about the total count of a face value across all players. Instead of raising, a player may challenge; all dice are revealed and either the bidder or challenger is penalized (commonly losing one die). Players with no dice are eliminated; the last player with dice wins. Optional rules can treat 1s as wild and may add an 'exact call' mechanic (edition-dependent).
Players roll dice in secret and make escalating bids about the total dice faces showing across all players. A challenge reveals all dice and the loser is penalized (commonly losing one die). Play continues until only one player still has dice.
Each round, all players roll their dice in secret. Starting with the first player, players make a bid stating a quantity and a face value (e.g., “five 3s”) for the total number of that face showing across all players’ concealed dice. On your turn you either raise the bid or challenge the previous bid. If challenged, all dice are revealed and the relevant faces are counted (often with 1s treated as wild in many editions). The loser of the challenge loses a die (or other penalty depending on the edition), and a new round begins. Players are eliminated when they have no dice left; the last player with dice wins.
No points; the winner is the last player with dice.
Record the winner. Recommended match params: startingDiceCount, onesWild, and whether an 'exact call' rule is used (spotOnRule), since these change play dynamics.
