Forbidden Desert is a cooperative survival game. Players move through a shifting desert, excavate tiles, manage water, and assemble a flying machine before the storm, heat, or sand defeats the team.
Set up the desert tile grid with a storm gap, place adventurers, and choose a difficulty. On a turn, a player spends actions to move, remove sand, excavate tiles, pick up parts, or share resources. After actions, storm cards move tiles, add sand, raise storm intensity, or trigger sun beats down effects. Players use equipment and role powers to survive and coordinate. The team wins by assembling the machine and escaping together.
