The games people actually play
Our own lists of the most popular games in each genre. Each one blends sales, reviews, surveys and how often people look a game up into one order, and credits every source. Games we already have link to their page; for the rest, request them and vote so they get added next.

How we build these
We read several widely followed rankings for each kind of game — community rankings, critic lists and editors' picks. A game earns points on every list it appears on, more for a higher place and more from the lists we weigh most. Adding those points up gives our order. We keep the titles and positions as facts, credit each source on the list's page, and never reuse anyone's write-ups.
