Two-player polyomino quilt-building game where players spend buttons and time to buy patches, fill a quilt board, and finish with the highest button score.
Standard Patchwork.
Patchwork is a two-player spatial strategy game. Players buy patch tiles with buttons, spend time to place them on personal quilt boards, and try to end with valuable button income and few empty spaces.
Set out the time board and arrange the patch tiles in a circle. On a turn, the player farther behind on the time track chooses either to advance for buttons or buy one of the next available patches. Buying a patch costs buttons and time, then the patch is placed on that player's quilt board. Crossing income spaces pays buttons based on visible income icons. Play continues until both players reach the end of the time track.
Final score; higher wins.
