F1-Style Points

Formula 1's curve, unchanged: 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 for the top ten, nothing below.

25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 for P1-P10

Best at

Large fields of eight or more, where you want winning to be worth a lot and the podium fight to matter.

Where it misleads

Everyone outside the top ten scores zero, which stops meaning anything in a big field. In small matches the curve has no room to work.

How it works

F1-Style Points uses the proven Formula 1 points distribution: 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 for positions 1st through 10th. Players finishing 11th or lower receive 0 points.

How it works: The top 10 finishers earn points on a carefully designed curve that heavily rewards winning (25 points) while still giving meaningful points to the top 10. The gap between 1st and 2nd (7 points) is the largest, emphasizing victories.

When to use it: Ideal for large free-for-all matches with 8+ players. The F1 system is battle-tested across decades of motorsport and naturally creates exciting point battles.

Watch out for: Players finishing outside the top 10 earn nothing, which can be demoralizing in very large fields. Also less meaningful in small matches (under 6 players) where the curve doesn't have room to operate.
