Placement Points (Normalized)
The same idea, rescaled so every match is scored as though it had the largest field of the session. A win is a win at any table size.

The scaling factor makes the raw numbers less intuitive than the simple version.
How it works
Normalized Placement Points scales all scores to the largest field size in the session. This ensures a win in a 4-player match earns the same as a win in an 8-player match.
How it works: Each placement is scored as if the match had the maximum number of players from any match in the session. In a session where the biggest match was 8 players, a 1st-place finish always earns 8 points.
When to use it: Essential when your group size fluctuates between matches. If some matches have 4 players and others have 8, this prevents large-match winners from having an unfair point advantage.
Watch out for: The normalization formula can feel less intuitive to casual players than simple placement points.
