Where it misleads
Two-sided matches only, and it has nothing to say if your game can end level.
How it works
Points Standings (W/L) assigns configurable points for wins and losses in formats where draws don't exist or aren't recognized.
How it works: Default: Win = 1 point, Loss = 0 points. Configurable to any values. Rankings sorted by total points.
When to use it: For formats with no draws: best-of series, elimination brackets, sudden death matches. Simpler than 3-1-0 when draws aren't possible.
Watch out for: Only works for 2-sided matches. If draws are possible in your game, use W/D/L or 3-1-0 instead.
