Win Ratio

Wins over games played, inside a league table, with draws optionally counting as half.

wins / games_played

Best at

Leagues where people play very different numbers of fixtures.

Where it misleads

Small samples produce extreme ratios; it needs a minimum-games threshold to behave.

How it works

Win Ratio normalizes the Win/Loss record by dividing wins by games played. It's Win Percentage applied in a league standings context.

How it works: Wins divided by total games. Draws can optionally count as half a win. A minimum games threshold can be set to avoid volatility from small samples.

When to use it: When schedules are uneven and players have different numbers of games. It creates a fair comparison regardless of how often someone plays.

Watch out for: Players with few games can have extreme ratios. Use the minGames configuration to set eligibility thresholds.
