Podium Frequency
Counts your firsts, seconds and thirds separately, then ranks on firsts with the rest as tiebreakers.
count(1st), count(2nd), count(3rd)
Best at
Free-for-all fields of four or more, where a near-miss still deserves the record.
Where it misleads
In a two-player game only first place exists, so it collapses into Win Count.
How it works
Podium Frequency tracks how often each player finishes in the top 3. It produces a multi-stat result showing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place counts separately.
How it works: For each match, players finishing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd get their respective counter incremented. Rankings are sorted by 1st-place finishes first, then 2nd, then 3rd as tiebreakers.
When to use it: Perfect for free-for-all games with 4+ players where finishing near the top is an achievement, even if you didn't win. It paints a fuller picture than just counting wins.
Watch out for: In 2-player games, only 1st place is meaningful (2nd is just "loser"), making this method less useful for duels.
